If you're after the lowest paid plan, Taxorio Pro starts at 50 CZK per month. Fakturoid (Na lehko) costs 151 CZK, iDoklad (Základní) 187 CZK and Vyfakturuj (Mini) 175 CZK. All four tools also have free plans limited to 5 contacts or a low number of invoices per month.
Which tool has the best AI receipt recognition?+
AI document recognition is offered today by Taxorio, Fakturoid and iDoklad — they differ in price and volume. Taxorio includes 150 scans per month directly in the Pro plan (50 CZK) with no surcharge. Fakturoid charges for AI extraction from the Na každý den plan (211 CZK/mo) plus 400 CZK excl. VAT per pack of 100 extractions. iDoklad gives you 3 extractions to try its Inbox, after which you buy AI in credit packs. Vyfakturuj does not list AI extraction on its website. So you get the most AI for the base price with Taxorio. In all these tools, documents in ISDOC format are read without AI, so they consume neither the limit nor credits.

For freelancers who want to file their own VAT and income tax returns, Taxorio is the most complete — it generates XML for DPHKH1 (VAT control report), DPHDP3 (VAT return) and DPFDP7 (personal income tax return) already in the Pro plan (50 CZK/mo). With Fakturoid and iDoklad, the VAT control report and full VAT compliance are only available in higher tiers (358–393 CZK/mo).
Does Taxorio support automatic payment matching?+
Yes. Taxorio automatically matches incoming payments to invoices by variable symbol and amount — already in the Pro plan for 50 CZK/mo. The same feature is offered by Fakturoid (from the Na každý den plan), iDoklad (from Oblíbený) and Vyfakturuj. Taxorio has it at the lowest price.
Which tool is best for me as a freelancer (OSVČ)?+
It depends on your needs. If you invoice, track documents and want XML for VAT and income tax at the lowest price, plus AI recognition and an AI advisor, Taxorio is a strong choice — and you hand data to your accountant via the Pohoda or Money S3 export. If you need direct bank integration, inventory, recurring invoices, the EC Sales List with OSS or foreign-currency invoicing, Fakturoid or iDoklad will suit you better. Vyfakturuj is a good choice on a limited budget and when you want a native mobile app.
Can I transfer data between these tools?+
Between most of these tools there is no automatic import. Taxorio is the exception — it recognises exports from Fakturoid, iDoklad and Vyfakturuj (clients, invoices and expenses, even bundled into one ZIP file) and shows a preview of what will be imported, what needs a quick check and what is skipped and why. We are rolling the feature out to users gradually, so if you are switching over, drop us a line and we will enable it for you. Fakturoid can import contacts from CSV but offers no direct invoice import and recommends keeping your old system for historical access — which is sound advice in general, since documents must be retained for 5–10 years.
