Where to find your company settings
All the details about your company (your trade licence) live in Settings → Company details. You get to Settings through the Settings item in the left-hand menu; the Company details tab is the first one in the "Business & taxes" group.
Basic identification details
These details are required on every invoice you issue, and must match your entry in the Trade Licensing Register or the Commercial Register.
- Company ID (IČO) — an eight-digit identification number assigned by the trade licensing office. Once you enter it, Taxorio automatically checks the details in the ARES register.
- Company name — your first and last name if you're self-employed (OSVČ), or your company's name. It loads automatically from ARES.
- Tax ID (DIČ) — the tax identification number, in the format CZ + IČO (e.g. CZ12345678). The field only appears when your VAT status is set to VAT payer or Identified person — in both cases it's required. A non-VAT payer never sees the field and doesn't fill it in.
Registered address
Enter the address of your place of business (registered office). It loads from ARES, but check it — especially if you're a new entrepreneur, the ARES record may not be up to date yet. The required fields are:
- Street and number
- City
- Postal code
Bank details
In the Bank details block, fill in the Account number (with the prefix, e.g. 19-2000145399) and the Bank code. That's enough: Taxorio works out a Czech IBAN from these two values on its own, so the invoice gets both the payment instructions and a QR code for payment under the CNB standard. The IBAN, BIC/SWIFT and Bank name fields are there if you want to enter your own value — typically for a foreign account.
Multiple accounts
If you collect payments into more than one account, manage them in Settings → Bank accounts: each account has its own name and currency, and one of them is the default. A new invoice gets the default account, and you can switch it to another one in the Payment section. An account is never deleted, only archived — and an invoice that's already issued remembers its own payment details, so a later change of account doesn't affect it.
Once you have more than one account, the bank details fields in Company details disappear, and only a link to Bank accounts remains in their place — a single field wouldn't tell you which account is actually used.
Company logo
The logo appears in the header of every invoice you issue and gives your documents a professional look. To upload it:
- Go to Settings → Company details. The Company logo card is right at the top, above the details form.
- Click the Upload logo button (once you already have one, it's called Upload a different logo) and pick a file.
- The logo saves as soon as you pick the file — there's nothing to confirm. You'll see a preview next to the button; you can remove it with the Delete logo button.
Technical requirements for the logo:
- Format: PNG or JPG (the app rejects anything else, SVG included)
- Maximum file size: 2 MB
- Recommended size: 400 × 200 px or larger
- Transparent background (PNG): displays correctly on both a white and a coloured invoice background
What shows up on the invoice
From Settings → Company details, every invoice picks up: the company name, the company ID (IČO), the tax ID (DIČ) (if you fill it in), the registered address, the bank details and the logo. Together they meet the statutory requirements for a tax document under § 29 of the VAT Act and § 435 of the Civil Code.
