Downloading the XML from Taxorio
Before you move on to filing, download the XML file Taxorio generated.
- Go to Taxes & insurance in the main menu and open the VAT tab.
- Choose the tax period and check the overview shown, as well as the findings listed.
- Pick the card you're downloading from — the VAT return, or the VAT control statement.
- Click Download (XML). The file saves to your Downloads folder.
DPHDP3_2026-03.xml (VAT return), DPHKH1_2026-03.xml (control statement), and for a quarter DPHDP3_2026-Q1.xml. The income tax return downloads as DPFDP7_2025.xml. Pick the right file when uploading.Filing through MOJE daně (EPO)
EPO (Electronic Filings for the Financial Administration) isn't a standalone website — it's the electronic forms inside the MOJE daně portal at adisspr.mfcr.cz. The link mojedane.cz leads to the same place. You can sign in with a data box, through Identita občana (NIA, BankID, eObčanka), or with a qualified electronic signature.
- Open adisspr.mfcr.cz and sign in. (You'll find the same link in Taxorio too — on the VAT tab, below the download buttons, in the line "upload it to MOJE daně — EPO".)
- From the list of electronic forms, choose the matching document — VAT return (DPHDP3) or Control statement (DPHKH1).
- Click LOAD FROM FILE → BROWSE and pick the XML you downloaded from Taxorio.
- Check the pre-filled details in the form preview and run the error check.
- Click Submit and confirm the filing. Keep the filing confirmation.
Filing through a data box
You can send the XML file directly as an attachment to a data message to the relevant tax office's data box. This approach suits you if you have a data box and don't want to sign in to the portal.
- You'll find your tax office's data box on financnisprava.gov.cz under contacts, or in the list of data boxes at mojedatovaschranka.cz.
- State the filing type and the tax period in the message subject (for example, "VAT return 03/2026").
- Attach the XML file. Don't add any covering PDF — the tax office only processes XML.
