Why mobile upload
Got a stack of paper receipts or invoices in front of you and want to record them fast? Mobile upload via QR code is the most comfortable way: you work at your computer, but photograph with your phone — more natural than a webcam. Documents transfer into the app instantly and wait for processing in the inbox.
How the whole thing works
-
Show the QR code on your computer
In the Expenses section switch to the Inbox tab and click Add document → Mobile scan. A Scan with phone window opens with a QR code valid for 5 minutes. The same tile (Scan with phone) is also in the new expense form. -
Scan the QR code with your phone
Open the camera or a QR reader on your mobile phone and scan the code shown on your monitor. Taxorio's mobile page opens automatically in your phone's browser — no app to install. -
Photograph or upload the document
On the mobile page, point the camera at the document and click Take photo, or choose Select file and pick an existing photo or PDF from your phone. A preview appears asking Confirm photo? — the Upload button sends the shot, the Retake button discards it and lets you shoot again. -
The document shows up in the inbox
Within a few seconds the document transfers to your computer and appears in the Inbox under Expenses — meanwhile, the counter of uploaded documents in the QR window ticks up. Taxorio runs the AI analysis and pre-fills the data; you check it in the document detail and confirm it with the Confirm and next button.
Uploading in bulk
The mobile page doesn't close after you send the first document — you can photograph several documents one after another. Every shot you send is added to the inbox as a separate document, and each upload extends the session by another 5 minutes, so it won't expire on you mid-shoot. Ideal for working through a whole box of receipts in one go.
Compatibility
Mobile upload works in any modern browser on iOS (Safari) or Android (Chrome). Nothing to download from a store — just a browser.
If you want Taxorio handy on your phone, add it to your home screen from Settings → Mobile app. It then launches in its own window like a regular app and updates itself. Mobile scan via QR code works exactly the same either way.
